Robert F. Herdman (1890-1973), an engineer, was a native of Pueblo, Colorado and attended Colorado A&M College with extension studies at the University of Colorado and the University of Wisconsin. He served in the Army during World Wars I & II; during which time he worked as a civilian engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers.
